About Don Vaughan
Don has twenty five
years of trial experience. He earned a B.A. with Highest Honors from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Masters Degree in Public
Administration from American University and his law degree from
Wake Forest School of Law. Don served
on the Greensboro City Council from 1991 through 2005. He was Mayor Pro
tem for two terms and served as Legislative Clerk for U.S. Senator
Robert Morgan. Don
is licensed in North Carolina, all Federal Courts, the U.S.
Supreme Court and is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
He has been published in the N.C. Bar Quarterly, North Carolina
Magazine and the National Association of Attorney's General. Don's
civic involvement includes serving on the Board of Visitors for
the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, the Board of
Directors for the North Carolina Citizens for Business and
Industry and the Board of Directors for the Greensboro Merchants Association.
He is a member of the Greensboro Rotary Club and the Greensboro
Sports Council. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar
Association and served as Chairman of the Greensboro Bar
Associations Government Affairs Committee. He has served on
numerous committees with regard to the North Carolina General
Assembly.
